Today, we started out with an amazing bus tour of Paris. We saw many famous landmarks like Opera Garnier, the Eiffel Tower - masterpiece of the 1889 World's Fair, the Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides - Louis XIV grand retirement home for wounded soldiers, Gardens of the Tuileries, and Place Vendome. We stopped a couple of times so the Bobcats could get some really good pictures. The bus dropped us off about a block away from Notre Dame. We walked there and then split into two groups so we could have lunch and do a little more shopping. Next, it was off to the Louvre to visit well-known paintings such as the Mona Lisa. We spent about two and a half hours there as the museum was very large with many gorgeous artworks to look at. You could spend all day there! When the Louvre was done, it was up to the Eiffel Tower we went! Bobcats went to the top, yes very top of the Eiffel Tower! From the top we saw the most beautiful sights of Paris including the Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides, the Louvre, and the Seine . That was a pretty late night for the Bobcats!
